Description
APOLLO XX
Brothers Grimm have traditionally refused to offer feminized seeds because we didn’t believe it was necessary, and we didn’t want to risk hermaphrodism. However, our research during 2016 lead us to a method which produced our first feminized version of Apollo Eleven – we call it Apollo XX, to indicate the two X-chromosomes.
We recommend 55-63 days of 12/12 flowering, after the seedlings are 6-8 weeks old.
Expect little variation in the phenotypes of Apollo XX; they’re very uniformly outstanding plants. A Sativa-dominant hybrid with long, thin leaves, the flowers are tight, dense nuggets of resin-encrusted calyxes reeking of over-ripe tropical fruit, especially grapefruit, and gummy bears.
The bag appeal is amazing. Apollo XX buds are very frosty, resin encrusted and dense. The aroma is like citrus-fruity, sweet cotton candy and the taste is all of that when you exhale. The high is uplifting and cerebral, yet it can be a bit paranoia-inducing to the uninitiated.
We recommend growing Apollo XX in its natural, single-dominant-cola shape and using stakes or cages to support the branches. Super-crop (pinch) the stalk, just below the main cola, to encourage side branches to catch up, and voila – you have a multi-headed bush.
A 36 to 48-inch-tall plant yields 3-5 dry ounces per plant. Above average yield.
