I germinated two seeds. One ended up male. Kept him in a safe place. Grew the female outside in the summer of 2024.
The female grew very strong. I grew here outside in the ground. She responds well to LST ( Low Stress Training).
Early on I bent her and she ended up with eleven branches that became beautiful stalks.
Heavy trellising was needed to hold her heft. She looked like an octopus spread wide with the stalks spread.
When flowering season began 55 MPH heavy winds took three stalks.
She ended over 15 feet wide, and about 15 feet high by flowering.
The inflorescence were a deep purple, and smelled like cracked black pepper corns, and sweet roses, or raspberries.
Got just over 3#’s from her dried and cured.
