Breeder Notes:

1977 Jamaican landrace x 1960’s Jamaican Lambsbread

Hierloom

From Gas: This is a 100% pure Jamaican landrace hybrid utilizing genetics that were well before the Dutch types started to cross-pollinate and outcross the traditional Jamaican types throughout the island. The

In 1977, a Jamaican was taken from the field, and she remains the only surviving seed of the collection. She finishes early for a Jamaican at 9 weeks, with a skunky-sweet, exotic spice and a long-lasting, smooth Colombian and Indian Kerala sativa-type buzz.

Mated to an equally impressive Jamaican Lambsbread from the Reggae artist Bushman, his family has kept the line since the 60’s. This is the real deal Lambsbread, which goes for 14 or more weeks.

Having never grown it before, I notice similarities between it and other Jamaican varieties, including the early-flowering 77. Red stems, nice lateral branching, and mold resistance.

As an F1 hybrid, the flowering time will be more manageable for indoor grows or for light deprivation, at around 65 to 70 days. Not bad at all for a pure Jamaican heirloom landrace-sativa hybrid.

This is the pinnacle of hybrid works for these pure types, making a new appearance of heirloom Jamaican

‘Collie Bud’ type available for public access.

Binghistra Bread is dedicated to and in agreement with Earl Chinna Smith and the Binghistra Movement of RasTaFari. A portion of the sales from every pack is donated to the Binghistra Movement to help preserve the cultural heritage of these Jamaican musicians and their works.
