Pizookies is a relatively rare and unknown cannabis variety created by Exotic Genetix. This regular strain gives rise to male and female plants, and maintains a compact structure throughout the growing cycle.

Pizookies has a relatively simple backstory, originating from a breeding project carried out by Exotic Genetix. This seed bank came from humble beginnings in the state of Washington, where the founder developed his green fingers as a volunteer in a hydroponics store, helping medical growers troubleshoot for pests and diseases. Soon enough, he found himself entering the world of breeding, with a focus on disease-resistant genetics. Now, Exotic Genetix has a comprehensive and award-winning strain library, and Pizookies ranks as a particularly tasty variety. This strain hasn’t won any prestigious awards yet, but it has made quite a big impact on its small but loyal growership.

Pizookies possesses a rather unique look that makes her stand out against many contemporary strains. Both her cola structure and color make her attractive to growers with a fondness for odd-looking plants. Pizookies plants exhibit a quintessentially indica morphology, featuring short internodes, thick leaflets, and a compact and bushy stature. This compact shape makes her suitable for small growing spaces, and certainly makes her less eye-catching when growing weed outdoors. Keep plants in a small container and top them, and they’ll reach 60–100cm. Use bigger pots and leave them untrained, and plants will peak around 150cm.

You’ll notice different colors show up across the growing cycle when cultivating Pizookies. She starts out dark green during the vegetative phase and stays that way during early flowering. However, things take a purple turn during the latter part of the flowering phase. Her buds and sugar leaves turn a deep violet hue, with spatters of green throughout. Pizookies produces small colas that are extremely tapered for their size; they almost look like inverted pyramids. In addition, Pizookies features above-average trichome density. Her buds sparkle during late flowering, and her trichomes pop against the purple-green background.
