Back in 2021, Motific set out to develop a bulletproof quasi-OG that would excel in the outdoors that we called “Apesh*t OG”. We leaned into our work with Magnum Opus to provide the backbone for the line. We discovered a truly excellent “gas giant” stud from a pool of over 200 plants. Technically a Kush, our “Magnum Opus f8” stud had far more gas than most OGs we know of. Then we crossed it with Josey Wales cut of Gorilla Glue #4 and knew that call was spot on and a new ‘primate’ star was born. Still we wanted to dial in even more of that OG target terp. When we later developed our White OG V.2 f3 stud, we knew that ‘this was the way’ to carry Apesh*t OG forward!

In 2022, Motific began an arduous to unearth an outstanding OG line that was worth really pursuing. After spending a year going through (and tossing) various lines of OG seed stock from our germplasm archives, the plant engineer gnomes in Motific finally settled on an OG line truly worth developing:

Karma’s epic, “White OG v.2”!

This was the second OG line that Karma crafted, using more than bit of original OG cornucopia from Californian elite OG’s. He combined Krome’s resin bomb, “The White OG” with his own “Triple Kush”, which itself paired Cali Connection’s masterpiece, “SFV OG BX2”, with the straight-up genius that is OGRaskal’s, “White Fire OG”. It is hard to go wrong with a pedigree like that!

After sorting through 250 White OG V.2 f3 plants line bred from multiple packs of Karma’s original White OG v.2 release, Motific finally found its champion stud!

Trust me when I say, that if OG is your game, then the new Motific White OG family is truly, “Game On!

Motific’s “Space Ape” has had a lot of development effort put into it, hunting from hundreds of plants along the way. While this is the first release of Space Ape, it will not be the last. Expect gas and more gas from the M.O. and the virtual resin bomb that is GG#4. A bit greasy and dank, it still holds potential as a hash dumper. It can run to 11 weeks like most M.O. lines, but it brings with it the high yields we love from the GG#4. This plant is bulletproof and easy to grow for the beginner!
