Royal Oil F3 (Royal Jelly F3 x Oil Spill F3) 10 Regular Seeds

Having worked with, Mandelbrot, (aka Ras Truth) and his well-bred Nor-Cal Kush “Magnum Opus” line since its release, Phoenix Flower was very familiar with its sister plant, Mandelbrot’s, “Oil Spill”. Oil Spill doubles down on the heady Magnum Opus terp profile of striking diesel-fuel-oil gas, adding even more diesel heft to the “trucker terps”. The terps from Oil Spill can best be described as, “full-fuel funk” on an OGK backside, no doubt derived from the XXX OGK in Oil Spill and its OGK and Chemdawg parental lines. The potency of Oil Spill schools even the most hardcore smokers and that is exactly why we love it – and put two years taking it to F3, selecting that hard to find rubber and diesel fuel pheno! This was a labor of love!

In-House Genetics left no stone unturned when it put together its “Royal Jelly” line, (Jelly Breath BX1 x King Sherb). Jelly Breath BX1 leaned on two of our favorite plants (Mendo Breath x Goliath) to find a stud to match with their go-to King Sherb (OGKB V2.1 x Blue Sherbert) mother. The result is a lip-smacking, desert strain of epic proportions with cash crop possibilities. Think of a fruity, Cookies on ‘roids.

Four years back Phoenix Flower had the off chance to run this somewhat rare breeding effort by In-House Genetics and honestly, they were not expect it to turn out as it did: ridiculously dense and resin-frosted buds that had off the chart bag appeal! So they ran it again – and again – to F3, isolating out that special female they had grown to love to seed form.

Stable as the day was long, Phoenix Flower knew this strain had the potential to become a commercial line, so we kept it around in seed form until we were ready to use it. That day came when we decided to pair it with our Oilspill F3 stud!

Royal Oil F3 was the kind of breeding project that never ends. When you think you have it figured out, the plant shows you something new. The first run gave Phoenix Flower the choices they were expecting with nice bag appeal and a much better yield, but not the exact terpene profile we had expected. The second run, focused more on the terpenes Phoenix Flower were looking for, heavier on the fuel side – but it was still wanting for more of that Oil Spill potency. However, the third time was a charm: big gas terps with bling bag appeal on a high yield frame! Moreover, Phoenix Flower knows they can run this line a few more times and dial it in even further. It is that nice!

This is a 10-week plant to grow if you want it to finish at its best. It shows the pest and plague resistance found in most Ras Truth plants, but it needs to be watched late due to its density. If you bring it across the finish line, you will be rewarded with some fire boutique bud that packs a real punch to make it all worthwhile!
