Motific has held and worked an old NYC Diesel cut that has circulated in NorCal for two decades (or more). Reliable and bountiful, this Diesel cut can be counted on to always produce big and come in without pestilence like clockwork. While it has more gas than sour terp-wise, it produces more like the NorCal Sour Diesels you have come to know than typical lower producing NYC Diesels. It is a wonderful plant and we decided it was the perfect foundation plant to create our own Motific, Sour OG creation. All we needed was the right OG and our White OG v.2 f3 stud was the absolutely the perfect match!

In 2022, Motific began an arduous to unearth an outstanding OG line that was worth really pursuing. After spending a year going through (and tossing) various lines of OG seed stock from our germplasm archives, the plant engineer gnomes in Motific finally settled on an OG line truly worth developing:

Karma’s epic, “White OG v.2”!

This was the second OG line that Karma crafted, using more than bit of original OG cornucopia from Californian elite OG’s. He combined Krome’s resin bomb, “The White OG” with his own “Triple Kush”, which itself paired Cali Connection’s masterpiece, “SFV OG BX2”, with the straight-up genius that is OGRaskal’s, “White Fire OG”. It is hard to go wrong with a pedigree like that!

After sorting through 250 White OG V.2 f3 plants line bred from multiple packs of Karma’s original White OG v.2 release, Motific finally found its champion stud!

Trust me when I say, that if OG is your game, then the new Motific White OG family is truly, “Game On!

NorCal produces many that are excellent, such as the Sour OG our friends from Rebel Grown produce. Motific’s “NYC Sour OG” is more than your typical Sour OG. It has a unique gas profile that has a touch of sour, coupled with a citrus-green apple terp that is brilliant. The uber resin production and heavy yields underpin a denser flower than your typical Sour Diesel. This makes NYC Sour OG both a good hash washer and an exceptional flower producer. That can be hard to find! Like all Diesels, NYC Sour OG will run a full 11-term and does not like heavy fertilizers. So let nature run with her and she will reward your patience.
