Northern Lights 1×1 is a triumphant return and evolution of a legend from Deep Ellum Seed Co. This limited-edition release combines our classic ’88 Dallas line with the revered AK Bean Brains line from 1985, creating a vigorous hybrid that embodies the true spirit of Northern Lights #1.

• Heritage: Our first NL#1 release six years ago was a rare treat celebrating our 20th anniversary. Due to overwhelming demand, we sought to bring it back, but with a twist.

• The Lineage: Rather than simply continuing our ’88 line, we searched for the perfect partner. After years of testing, we found the verified 1985 NL#1 line from our friend, AK Bean Brains.

• Structure: AK’s line (bushy, medium-to-narrow leaves) complements our ’88 Dallas line (columnar, wider leaves) perfectly. Both have been inbred separately for decades, and their combination results in offspring with vigorous, textbook Northern Lights traits.
