We found HSCo’s, “Vanilla Frosting” (Humboldt Frost OG x Humboldt Gelato) to be a unique plant. It has terrific potency that last for hours, with a odds sweet vanilla crème taste that really does credit to its name. It was never a big yielding plant, but the quality of the medicine was very good. Thankfully, it is easy to grow, so we figured it was worth working and found a male that fit the bill for our next steps.

The infamous, cut-only, “Arcata Trainwreck”, has many fans and we are surely one of those fanboys. Trainwreck is a killer strain that you love or you hate, with its blistering high, fast as light flowering time, and overwhelming limonene taste. Clearly, this strain needed a little work to help those folks not in love with that Trainwreck flavor. Its ease of growth, super yields and non-nonsense run-time made this project a must-do.

“Ice Train” was not an easy plant to get right. The Trainwreck proved to be very dominant. While both the Vanilla Frosting and Trainwreck had outstanding smack-down potency, it took some work to mellow out the limonene from the Trainwreck to allow that lemon-crème flavors to settle in, while staying true to a fast run-time, more than solid yields, and ease of growing. While we have worked this line for three turns, you should expect a few phenos to appear, but all will flat line the party with its potency!
