This hybrid is a centerpiece of the G13 Project—a mission Deep Ellum embarked on in early 2025 to revitalize and stabilize one of the most mysterious lineages in cannabis history. Inspired by the “Dallas Hype” cuts of the past, this cross was engineered to take a legendary but “difficult” clone and turn it into a high-performance garden staple.

By pairing the tall, lanky G13/Skunk cut with their rock-solid, true-breeding G13/NL2 male, Deep Ellum has created a version of G13 that is faster, more potent, and significantly easier to manage.

The Heritage: Taming the Hype

• The Mother: Airborne G13 x Dominion Skunk — A high-demand “hype” cut known for its stature and effects, but often criticized for being overly leafy and slow to ripen.

• The Father: G13/NL2 (Bx4 F3) — The “Crown Jewel” of the Deep Ellum library. This true-breeding line provides the structure, resin density, and accelerated flowering time that the mother lacked.

Grower’s Notes: A Tale of Two Phenos

Because this is an F1 cross of two distinct styles, you will find two primary expressions in your hunt:

1. The Skunk Leaner: These phenotypes favor the mother. They can stretch significantly during the first three weeks of flower. Topping and LST (Low-Stress Training) are highly recommended to keep the canopy manageable.

2. The NL2 Leaner: These are the resin-monsters of the pack. They are shorter, sturdier, and frostier. These plants perform best with their central apical meristem (main topper) left intact—let that main cola soar.

A Note on Environment: Under optimum conditions, the flowers on this hybrid become incredibly dense. If you are growing in a highly humid or coastal environment, ensure you have maximum airflow and dehumidification to protect those thick colas during the final two weeks!
