Cherry Colada F3 ([Pineapple Kush x Gelato #25/Dosidos #22] x Cherry Coconut F3) 10 Regular Seeds

For some 20 year’s an excellent, cut-only heritage Pineapple Kush has circulated So-Cal. Known for amazing yields and bullet-proof commercial traits, it possess a HUGE pineapple upside-down cake terp profile. We know this plant well, so we decided to breed it to our ridiculously potent Gelato #25/Dosidos #22 on a whim.

The idea was to create a more cookie-style flower structure, adding potency and flower density from the Gelato #25/Dosidos #22, but still keep the huge yields from the Pineapple Kush and its bulletproof mold resistance. We also hoped to bring the 10-week run time down as well since the Gelato #25/Dosidos #22 can run long and did not fare well with late season rains and we were looking at a Gelato #25/Dosidos #22 dominant line now. That first effort worked out well overall, but the terps leaned to the Gelato #25/Dosidos #22 side instead of the anticipated Pineapple Kush side and left something still to be desired, though the flowers were spot on. More work clearly needed to be done.

Sonora’s, “Cherry Coconut” is amazing breeding stock, which lends a shorter flowering time as well as a unique and totally ridiculous, ‘cherry-coconut’ terpene profile. Most every phenos is highly resinous, with a wide branching structure that trains itself, and shows high resistance to late season molds! More over these traits pass on to the female pretty well, and this was no exception.

The results of our “Cherry Colada” project turned out much better the second time around, though we knew it is often hard to bring run times down. Still a 9-week run time is acceptable compared to the prior 10-week run time. Best of all Cherry Colada’s tropical fruit terps proved to be utterly AMAZING, creating a cornucopia of tropical fruit flavors to brighten the otherwise bland flavors of the Gelato #25/Dosidos #22.

The rest of the plant profile remain largely unchanged with ridiculous resin production, hefty potency, and quality flowers that cover the spectrum of ‘desert flavors’ and much more! We are really happy with how nicely this strain turned out! Ideal for either indoor or outdoor cultivation, it is suitable for a greenhouse environment as well. Best of all look for a 9-week run time with zero concerns for late season mold.
