Motific Genetics’ Glazed Runtz #6 (GG4 x Candy Haze) project has been three years in the making and has become a core component in many of their future endeavors. They first took the classic Mr. Nice ’98 Super Silver Haze ‘cut only’ Nor-Cal mother and paired it with a selected “Candyland” male (of Ken Estes fame) to create the blistering “Candy Haze.” Then, they searched through over 200 Candy Haze plants to find the perfect male to marry to their own cut-only GG#4 (sourced from Josie Wales himself) to create their flagship line, “Glaze.”

Next, Motific Genetics repeated the search, sorting through over 200 individuals in the new Glaze line and ultimately settling upon the most magnificently structured, resinous female imaginable. They crossed this with their prized, original, cut-only “Runtz” (closely held and circulating among some of the best breeders in Nor-Cal) to create the new “Queen,” “Glazed Runtz #6.”

Motific Genetics Glazed Runtz #6 has an amazingly pungent and complex terpene profile, akin to lemon-orange peel on a deep, super-dank, elite Sour Diesel-OG baseline that carries a slightly light reddish tinge to the mature flowers.

They turned to the local Nor-Cal sour diesel pros at Rebel Genetics to pair the Queen with the best Sour Diesel possible. Motific Genetics sorted through over 160 Rebel Sour Diesel F3 plants to select the perfect male stud. This huge population was narrowed down to a single male out of over 70 candidates: a wicked, classic lemon sour diesel, with dirty sock and greasy OG terpenes, sticky with abundant pollen production in chunky flower clusters. This male also boasts impressive branching structure and resistance to powdery mildew and pests.

Glazed Runtz #6 recombines sweet & sour Runtz terpenes with brilliant lemon-orange peel overtones on an elite Sour Diesel-OG baseline. This is an elite Sour if there ever was one! Couple that with a train wreck rush of a high that mellows out on the exhale, and you will have some special smoke. Expect a 9-week run time and a slightly finicky care regime.
