Skunk God’s Dawg Nutz is an F1 cross of Stardawg and a Jelly Balls Fireballs x Jelly Pie male!

Stardawg, MacDawg’s father, was created by JJ NYC of Top Dawg Seeds. JJ bred Stardawg in hopes of stabilizing many of the prized traits of the famed Chemdawg strain.
To create Stardawg, JJ used an Afghan No. 1 from Sensi Seeds to pollinate his Chem D cut. Next, he backcrossed this hybrid with the Chem D two more times, selecting for Chem-dominant offspring. Lastly, he crossed this strain with the Chem 4 cut, increasing both its yield and vigor. JJ named this variety “Stardawg,” perhaps to underscore its sparkling resin glands that are as white as stars.

Stardawg, the father of MacDawg, is a hybrid of Chem 4 and Tres Dawg. Tres Dawg is a backcross of Chem D, with an Afghan No. 1 male. Chem 4 and Chem D are phenotypes of Chemdawg, also known as Dog Bud—an illustrious strain with a mysterious lineage. Given its funky, earthy aroma, some growers suggest that Chem D could be the offspring of Skunk No. 1. Others believe that it might be a cross of Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush.
